BEHIND THE LENS

The photo on the left is me and my younger brother on our small family farm growing up in small-town Idaho.

I took an interest in photography during my teen years. I started with a Kodak Instamatic and moved on to a Polaroid. Eventually I moved on to digital point and shoot camera's. I then asked my folks if I could have their old Canon AE1 and signed up for a photography class at PCC in Portland. The first chance I had to buy a reasonably priced DSLR I jumped on it and haven't looked back.

I am so grateful my family took tons of pictures as we were growing up! It is amazing to look back and remember these moments. One day it will be all that is left to pass on, moments captured in time. I would love to help you preserve your memories!
